Royce Liu graduated from the University of Toronto with a double major in Cell & Molecular Biology and Human Biology. He then continued his studies at the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TSTCM), where he completed their Advanced TCM program.
During his university years, Royce did volunteer work as a medical assistant in Costa Rica and Nicaragua, an experience which strengthened his desire to become a healthcare professional and provide healing to all who need it. In his practice, he takes full advantage of his backgrounds in both Western and Traditional Chinese medicine, bridging the two fields to provide better results for his patients.
Royce’s treatment philosophy is result-oriented and tailored to each individual, using a combination of Tung’s Acupuncture, Zhu’s Scalp Acupuncture, and Classic Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture points. To speed up the recovery process and achieve the most efficient results, he also uses other modalities such as cupping, guasha, herbal formulas and Dao Yin. Royce also likes to engage the patient in their health, explaining to them the origins of their symptoms and talking them through his process. By doing this, he has found patients more willing to make lifestyle changes that would benefit their health.
